Greetings, Neighbors. Hope you are all in a great place and that the cold stops coming. I am ready for the sun!
If you missed the show, below are the songs that were played. Make sure to add them to your playlists and share with other music lovers. I made two announcements about events that are coming up. They are music-based and I would not want you to miss them!
On Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, WJCT Studios will be showing Summer of Soul…(Or, When The Revolution Could Not Be Televised). This film is about a festival that took place in 1969 and had a stellar lineup. The proposed concert film never saw the light of day, until a few years ago. It’s a great music treat to witness. The viewing starts at 6:30pm.
Second, the Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series is happening throughout the month of February at the Fort Mose Historic State Park in St. Augustine, Florida. There will be performances by Kem, Macy Gray, Snarky Puppy, and Dinner Party (Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, and Robert Glasper). Talk about some heavy hitters!
Enjoy the music, the shows to come, and be on standby for more announcements. Be good to others and to yourself. #TOTHETOP
