Widespread Panic return to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre for a Three-Night Run

Jam-band kings Widespread Panic return to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on March 22, 23 and 24.

Formed more than 30 years ago in Athens, Georgia, the band were spearheads of the now-legendary 1992 H.O.R.D.E. tour—a patchouli-scented and red-eyed sibling to Lollapalooza. Along with tourmates Blues Traveler, Phish and the Aquarium Rescue Unit, that tour was a success and helped create what is now the jam-band scene.

Known for their fearless musical improvisations and never playing the same setlist twice, the band has survived the deaths of founding members Michael Houser and Todd Nance and three decades of at-times dramatic shifts in music genres, the recording industry and the post-pandemic touring model based on the strengths of their willingness to relentlessly gig and the fans who follow them to the end of the earth (or at least St. Augustine). Longtime favorites of Northeast Florida music fans, the current lineup of Widespread Panic includes singer-guitarist John Bell; guitarist Jimmy Herring; vocalist-bassist Dave Schools; vocalist-keyboardist John Hermann; percussionist Domingo S. Oritz, and drummer (and Jacksonville native) Duane Trucks.

Widespread Panic performs at 7 p.m. Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Tickets are on sale now and are available here. Three-day and single-day tickets are available; eight-ticket limit per buyer.
