Neighbors! It’s been a minute but I’m back with the tunes played on last Saturday’s show. If you listened live, we hoped you enjoyed yourself. If not, we still have the list below for you to add to your holiday playlists.
I had the honor of interviewing one-half of Black Violin (a portion of that interview aired during the show). Talking with Wil Baptiste about being in the music game for 20 years, and listening to their music put me in a jazz spirit. The tunes of Michael Mayo, Yussef Dayes and Flying Lotus speaks to my mindset when I was orchestrating this week’s playlist. I also added the new Kurious and Mereba, along with the hometown heroes Dillon & Batsauce.
Black Violin will be performing at the Florida Theatre on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024. Grab a ticket on JME’s calendar page and make it an evening. Talk soon, Neighbors. Be good to others and to yourself. #TOTHETOP
