An RSD bonus round comes to the 904
Record Store Day — the traditionally once-a-year infusion of vinyl rarities and reissues into independently owned record stores around the country — is back for a 2022-bonus round.
While April 23 was the official RSD of 2022, a fair amount of the most-anticipated drops didn’t make it to independent music sellers, owing largely to an unprecedented logjam at vinyl manufacturers around the world.
And so it will be: On Saturday, June 18, you can expect to see more than a few long lines in front of your fave music retailer, as well as a few folks proudly toting a stack of fresh vinyl finds. With hundreds of reissues, previously unreleased live recordings, unique box sets and eclectic compilations on offer for this bonus RSD drop, it’s a good day to go crate digging.
