The Lumineers – Tuesday, May 17

Daily’s Place | Downtown Jacksonville 

From the coffee shops of Denver to headline spots on the festival circuit, indie-folk darlings The Lumineers’ rise has been nothing short of meteoric. The band celebrates their latest record, Brightside, with two tour-kickoff shows at Daily’s Place (NOTE: Wednesday’s show has sold out). Leon Bridges – Thursday, May 19

St. Augustine Amphitheatre | St. Augustine

Grammy Award-winning R&B singer-songwriter Leon Bridges has given new life to neo soul with his crossover smashes, including “River” and Coming “Home,” all while exploring and expanding his sound as he prepares to release his much-anticipated third studio album, Gold Diggers Sound. Bridges plays The Amp on Thursday.

Bedroom Pop 

Beabadoobee – Friday, May 20

Underbelly | Downtown Jacksonville

With her 2020 debut, Fake It Flowers, Philippines-born, UK-bred youngster Beabadoobee is one of bedroom pop’s rising stars. Her latest, Beatopia, is due in July. The singer and guitarist brings her lo-fi confessionals to Underbelly on Friday.

Philadelphia w/ Mar and Bedford Cords – Friday, May 20

The Walrus | Murray Hill

Jax-indie singer-songwriter Philadelphia performs at ultra-cool Murray Hill establishment The Walrus, with support from Mar and Bedford Cords.

Fusion 

Universal Funk Orchestra – Saturday, May 21

Jack Rabbits | San Marco 

Blending funk, soul, electronic, jazz, hip-hop and everything in between, Orlando-based fusion collective, Universal Funk Orchestra, brings their distinctive sonic signature to Jack Rabbits on Saturday.

Garage 

Gino and the Goons – Saturday, May 21

Rain Dogs | Five Points

Backed by a rotating cast of thrashers he calls the Goons, Tampa’s Gino (no last name) returns to Jacksonville –– where he’s doggedly built an audience over the last decade or so –– bringing his primal garage-rock wallop to Rain Dogs. Local garage trio Mercy Mercy opens the show.
