Yes, it’s a vegan cafe and juice bar by day. And, yes, it’s a 100-capacity live-music venue by night. But the Walrus is much more than that. A community space that’s located on what’s become one of Jacksonville’s hippest strips (Edgewood Ave. S.), the Walrus is a place to hear emerging artists from the ranks of Northeast Florida’s diverse music scene and buzzy acts from around the country. Music nearly every night of the week. Most shows are ticketed at the door.
