Florida-based kitchen sink blues musician Lauris Vidal performs from 1:15-2:30 p.m. at 233 W. 4th St.
Lauris Vidal has been electrifying audiences since 2006 with his unique brand of music, bursting with the fierce energy of a hangry alligator. Hailing from Florida, he’s toured relentlessly across the U.S., releasing two critically acclaimed Long EPs . He is currently gearing up for the release his first full-length vinyl album, “Horribly Good Times,” dropping on November 2, 2024, through his own Citrus Circuit Records.
With an eclectic live set, he’s shared the stage with a diverse range of acts, from the Avett Brothers, Blitzen Trapper, Andy Shauf to various regional and international punk, reggae, hip hop and folk acts. He’s performed in venues spanning from grand mansions to dilapidated punk houses. From Jack White’s Third Man Records to your local dive bar. From festival stages to guerilla punk shows under the Jacksonville Treaty Oak. His performances have garnered praise, with Punk News describing them “like getting a hug from Tom Waits at a Paul Simon concert.” With his rootsy art, infectious energy, and unwavering passion, Lauris Vidal continues to leave a unique mark on the music scene
