The City of Jacksonville, the Jessie Ball duPont Fund and Florida Blue announced today that the community is invited to LaVilla’s Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing Park for a free arts and music festival. Rain or shine, LaVilla Sounds Presented by Florida Blue will feature a variety of entertainment and activities that celebrate and honor LaVilla’s rich history. Experience the soulful sounds of our hometown talent, from captivating vocalists to high-energy bands bringing the best of jazz, R&B, and gospel. There’s something for everyone, including fun games for the kids, classic hand games instruction, and line dancing that will get the whole crowd moving.
