
The legendary jazz bassist Ron Carter performs with Ron Carter’s Foursight Quartet on the Groovin’ Stage at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival 2023 on Saturday.
An icon and master of his instrument, the three-time Grammy-winning artist is the most-recorded jazz bassist in history. Aside from being a member of the Miles Davis Quintet in the ’60s, and collaborating with peers such as Herbie Hancock, Thelonious Monk, Cannonball Adderley, Carter’s has been band leader on dozens of studio albums. Carter’s latest is the 2023 collaboration with Daniele Cordisco, Bitter Head.
